Welcome to the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games!
Team BC is ready to take on the ‘Best in the West!”
On behalf of the entire Mission Team – Welcome to Fort McMurray and the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games!
Congratulations once again on being selected to Team BC. You represent BC's best and you are incredible role models for your sport, hometown, and province. We know you will each excel on the field of play while acting as tremendous ambassadors for Team BC. Enjoy and embrace the Games experience.
The Games Host Society is committed to ensuring all 427 Team BC athletes, coaches, managers and mission staff have an incredible Games experience; both in achieving optimal on-field performance and enjoying the warm Wood Buffalo hospitality.
To our Team BC partners, families, and supporters - it is a collective effort of so many to get Team BC prepared ready to compete at these Games. It is with your support that this experience is possible and we hope that you are able to be part of the excitement either at the Games or from home. We look forward to celebrating with you at the Coach and Family Appreciation Night and cheering with you in the stands.
To the community of Fort McMurray - thank you for welcoming us to beautiful northern Alberta. We know the countless hours of work that have gone into planning for our arrival and we are incredibly grateful to have this experience in your community. Thank you also to the thousands of volunteers who will contribute to making these Games a success.
We live for this…we are ready! Let the Games begin!
Go Team BC!

From overall operations and administration, to medical staff and mental performance coaches, to media and communications, we are here to make sure that all Team BC athletes have the best experience possible. We are here to help – watch for us around the Games, or come visit us at the Mission Office:

Team BC Birthdays
Team BC would like to send Happy Birthday wishes to Ryan Watt and Emma Harrison, from rowing who have birthdays today, and to Jenna Wong from Badminton who will be celebrating tomorrow. These athletes are not yet here in Wood Buffalo, so we are counting on you #TBCRowing and #TBCBadminton to make sure these athletes get many well wishes.
