Both the women's and men’s gymnastics athletes had their first practice session today at the Collicut Centre in Red Deer, Alberta. The athletes had their first look at the competition facility and are eager to begin their full training day tomorrow before competition begins with the Team Finals on Sunday, February 17. 

This afternoon, the gymnastics team attended the Team BC Pep Rally and then to the 2019 Canada Winter Games Opening Ceremony. This is the first Canada Winter Games experience for all of the athletes on Team BC Gymnastics.

Tomorrow will mark day two of practice for gymnastics ahead of competition on Sunday.
