Second silver medal for Victoria diver Bryden Hattie at the 2017 Canada Summer Games
Bryden Hattie (Victoria) was back on the podium Tuesday at the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg winning a silver medal in the men's 1-metre springboard diving competition. Hattie scored four 9.0s on his reverse 1.5 somersault pike to contribute to his overall score of 361.85 points to earn the silver, less than a point behind the gold medallist from Team Ontario. Ryan Grover (Victoria) placed fourth with 339 points.



"It was pretty clutch," said Hattie on scoring a 9 on his last dive.



Hattie is very happy with his performance at so far at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. "I'm happy I got silver with my partner and silver individually too."



Hattie and Grover won silver in the men's 3-metre synchro on Monday.
