BC's cross country and para nordic athletes had a great showing in the sprint races at the Canada Winter Games Tuesday, netting two Silver and one Gold medal at Ski Martock.

On the first full day of competition in Week Two of the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax, Team BC added more medals to their total, continuing the momentum set last week.

Three Gold medals on Friday helped push Team BC to second in the medal standings at the end of Week One of the 2011 Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

Team BC's youngest member, Shallon Olsen (Surrey), 10, won her first ever Canada Games Gold medal Thursday on the final day of Artistic Gymnastics competition at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.  She was awarded the top prize for her compelling floor routine, and followed up with a Bronze on the beam.
