Team BC, the defending Canada Summer Games champions, is ready for their upcoming game against Quebec. Team BC has been playing consistently strong softball under the leadership of Coach Gord Collings.

BC swimmers raked in an additional two gold and four bronze today, brining Team BC’s overall total to 17 medals in these Games.

It’s day two of competition at the 2013 Canada Summer Games and spirits were high with Victoria’s Jon McKay taking bronze in the men’s 800m freestyle event with a time of 8:14.49 – the first medal of these Games for Team BC.

With competitions starting in less than 24 hours, more than 160 athletes arrived at Bishop’s University yesterday to represent British Columbia in the first week of the 2103 Canada Summer Games.
