On another rigid cold day on the slopes in Red Deer, the parallel giant slalom competition for snowboard took place at Canyon Ridge. While no Team BC athletes reached the podium today, two female and two male snowboarders did reach the semi-finals.

In the female semi-finals, Audrey Shieh (Vancouver) lost to Anne Gagne from QB, while Brianna Belisle (Smithers) lost to Mariska Pelletier from QB. Shieh finished the competition 5^th while Belisle concluded the day with a 7^th place finish.

In the male semi-finals, Colby Graham (Prince George) lost to Jamie Behan from ON and Jacob Walper (Invermere) lost to Mikey Nazwaski from ON. Graham concluded the day in 6^th place while Walper finished in 7^th place.
