Benita Peiffer took silver in the women's 7.5 kilometre cross country free technique at the 2019 Canada Winter Games.
Peiffer, from Whistler, finished with a time of 22:40.5 and Isobel Hendry, from Alberta, crossed the finish line with a time of 22:42.3.
Lara Leclair, from Quebec, won the gold medal with a time of 22:11.6.
Finishing inside the top 10 racers was Team BC's Elizabeth Mccroy-Elliott (Revelstoke) in fifth, Jasmine Drolet (Rossland) in sixth and Molly Miller (Kimberley) in seventh.
