Team BC finished in fourth place in the artistic swimming team event on Thursday.
The team scored a 74.1667, an improvement on the previous days score. Their total competition score was 145.1117.
"We were really not too picky about being on the podium. It was more like a performance outcome and we had one of our best swims. I think that’s what we’re most proud of," said Kendall Sirrat (Vancouver).
In the solo event Sirrat finished in fourth place in the B flight. Her final routine score was 72.100 and her total competition score was 142.6967.
"They were really good. It was a new experience for me. It was a very spirit-full week I guess. It was fantastic. Even from the other provinces like I just felt energy from them and from our own province. It was really way different from our normal competitions," said Sirrat of her Games experience.
Hannah McDonagh-Proud (Nanaimo) finished fifth overall in the A flight with a final routine score of 72.3000. Her total competition score was 144.1972.
"These games have been amazing. It’s just been like a huge adventure since the summer since when we’ve been all training together and then finally getting here and seeing all the different athletes in different sports and being able to share it with them. It’s been really cool," said McDonagh-Proud.
