Team BC went ahead early in the game and Team New Brunswick could not catch up. The girls fought hard to take a 4-1 lead at halftime. The game was close and evenly matched throughout. Team New Brunswick eventually scored to come within one goal, but BC held on for the 4-3 win in the Quarter Final matchup.
Kiana Heska (Surrey) has had an outstanding tournament to date. As starting goalie, Heska has faced many shots and held her own against the opponents attempts to best her and get on the board.
“Today our goalie really stood on her head. She has been outstanding all tournament and she has really kept us in most of our games,” said Team BC Mission Staff for Ringette, Jennifer Falloon.
