Biathlon set for the start of competition tomorrow
Team BC biathlon athletes got some much needed rest this morning as the training session was moved to begin in the afternoon. The team spent the afternoon preparing for tomorrow's race with all final planning taking place.

The competition venue at the Riverbend Golf and Recreation Area is set to impress. The Red Deer River majestically wraps itself around the River Bend Golf Course and 420 acres of forested parkland.

On tomorrow's competition, Coach Jessica Blenkarn (North Vancouver) spoke: "Team Alberta has a pretty strong team, but we (Team BC) have a good shot tomorrow."

Additionally, the team had something else to rejoice today as teammate Larissa Black (Squamish) celebrated her birthday.

Tomorrow the Youth Women's 6km and Youth Men's 7.5km sprint competitions will begin at 2:00 pm. The Medal Presentation will take place at 4:05 pm at the Riverbend Golf and Recreation Area.
