Team BC short track speed skaters had their last training session before they get into competition at the 2019 Canada Winter Games.
"Today's training was pretty good. We did some relays and progressive laps. The ice got choppy after awhile ... but it is good because we have to learn how to deal with it in case it happens during competition," said Sherilyn Chung, whose club team is the Port Coquitlam Lightning Speed Skating Club.
"I think it is a good wind up going into competition. I'm most excited for the 500's. I'm excited for the relays because it's a team event and it takes a team effort," said Chung.
Qualification rounds for the men's and women's 1500 metre race and the 500 m race are on Feb. 17.
