BC earns silver and bronze in Men's golf competition
The men's golf team had another strong day out in the hot sun and finished the tournament with a silver medal in the team standings.

For the fourth and final round, Tristan Mandur (Mill Bay) shot a 70; this left him tied for 2nd place. A tiebreak between Louis-Alexander Jobin-Colgan (QB) ended with Mandur earning a Bronze medal in the individual competition. Nolan Thoroughgood (Victoria) shot a 69, moving him up to a 6th place finish. Teammate Keaton Gudz (Victoria) shot a 73, earning him a 9th place finish overall. As a team, the trio earned a Silver medal behind Quebec.

Quote:
MANDUR, Tristan (Mill Bay)
On his individual and team performance:
"I'm proud of my individual and team performance. This is my last junior tournament before heading to university-- finishing in the top 3 in both [individual and team] is an awesome feeling."

On his highlight of the tournament:
"My biggest highlight is jarring it from 170 for an eagle on the first day."

On his favourite part of the overall Games:
"My biggest highlights for the Games is the whole team aspect, since golf is usually an individual sport; also going out in the evening to cheer on other BC athletes."
