Listen to some intense pump-up music. For me- usually the Chili Peppers. I proceed to plan, anticipate, and visualize my race. Once I am sufficiently nervous, ready to walk out the front door and avoid the entire situation, I turn on some calming music- typically something melodic and rich: Sam Cooke.

Eventually make a Senior National Team.
